Older people in East Lothian are clear they want to get the support they need to stay in their own homes for as long as possible as an alternative to going into a care home or into NHS care.
The draft strategy is a long-term vision for older citizens over 65 in East Lothian and was created by the Older People's Planning Group after listening to what older people have said will improve their lives.
When planning this strategy the partners have put the welfare of people who use services and their carers at the centre of their thinking. |
